Man spends just $80 on 20 robot vacuum cleaners, gets what he paid for
(Web Desk) - A Chinese man who recently purchased 20 robot vacuums online for an unbelievably low price documented his experience for the internet’s enjoyment.
A decent robot vacuum in China costs around 1,000 Yuan ($145), with more advanced models costing several times that amount. So imagine finding a robot vacuum cleaner online for only 27 Yuan ($4) Can you blame this guy for buying 20 of them all at once to ensure that their number compensates for performance, only to discover the hard way that this isn’t how these things work? As you might expect, there was a reason those things were so cheap, but he got a good laugh and a lot of online attention out of it.
First, the Shanghai-based YouTuber unboxed one of the ultra-cheap vacuum robots and attempted to put it through its paces by vacuuming some pieces of paper on his desk. The end result was unimpressive. It not only sucked in one of the dozens of pieces of paper on the desk, but it also fell off.
The man then tried a safer test, placing the vacuum in a large cardboard box and cleaning it up with torn tissues. The vacuums kept getting stuck in a corner and did little vacuuming. What scraps it did manage to remove became entangled in its rotating brushes rather than being vacuumed.
After concluding that his 20 $4 vacuum robots were nothing more than toys, he decided to unleash them all at once in his home, which looked pretty cool.
