FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A team of Pakistani scientists have prepared a sustainable jeans from cannabis fabric at the University of Agriculture in Faisalabad.
After extraction, the cannabis thread was mixed with cotton to produce a fabric.
Chairperson of the Department of Fibre and Textile Technology at the University of Agriculture in Faislabad, Dr Asad Farooq told, “We have signed an MoU with a US-based company and will soon begin mass production”.
