Joey Jaws Chestnut won Hot Dog Eating Contest at New Yorks Coney Island after stuffing 62 hot dogs down his throat in 10 minutes.Chestnut, 220-pound 27-year-old engineering student beat 16 other competitors and marked his fifth consecutive triumph. Chestnut retained the mustard-yellow champions belt after stuffing 62 hot dogs down his throat in 10 minutes. Although there was an improvement on the 54 buns and dogs he ate in the 2010 competition, Chestnut was 6 hot dogs short of his own personal best.Runner-up was Patrick Deep Dish Bertoletti, a 26-year-old chef from Chicago, who gobbled up 53 buns and dogs. Winner in the womens division was Sonya Thomas who also took home a 10,000 U.S. dollar winners check. Nathans Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest has been a Coney Island Independence Day tradition since 1916.
