UAE clinches two Guinness World Records with NYE fireworks
The 2020 New Years Eve gala included 13 minutes of fireworks display.
RAS AL-KHAIMAH (Reuters) - The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah set two Guinness World Records for fireworks displays on Wednesday (January 1), one for the ‘Most Unmanned Aerial Vehicles for Launching Fireworks Simultaneously’ and the second for the ‘The Longest Fireworks Waterfall’.
The 2020 New Year’s Eve gala included 13 minutes of fireworks display using 173 PyroDronesTM simultaneously.
The second title for the ‘Longest Fireworks Waterfall’ spanned a length of 3,788.86 metres, beating a previous record held in Fujuoka, Japan, which was for a length of 3,517.23 metres.
Following the spectacle, the organisers received the titles from Shefali Mishra a representative of the Guinness World Record organisation.
