Summary New Scheduled section has been added to ChatGPT’s sidebar, where users can view active tasks
(Web Desk) - OpenAI has introduced a new task scheduling feature in ChatGPT, allowing users to schedule and manage tasks directly within the AI chatbot.
The feature, called “Scheduled”, adds functionality commonly found in messaging and productivity applications, enabling users to instruct ChatGPT to perform or monitor tasks at specified times.
A new Scheduled section has been added to ChatGPT’s sidebar, where users can view active tasks they have assigned to the chatbot. The section also allows users to edit, pause, or delete existing scheduled requests.
According to OpenAI, scheduled prompts are designed to execute more reliably and efficiently. Users can instruct ChatGPT to complete specific tasks at a designated time or within a particular timeframe in the future.
The feature can also be used for monitoring tasks, allowing users to set recurring checks or reminders through the chatbot.
OpenAI said the scheduling capability is currently being rolled out to paid subscribers. The company has not yet confirmed whether the feature will be made available to free-tier users.
