Twitter reinstates Bird logo days after replacing it with 'Doge' meme

(Web Desk) – Days after Elon Musk replaced the classic Bird logo of Twitter in a surprise move with the “Doge” meme, the microblogging site has now reinstated the blue bird.

Earlier this week, the world’s second richest person flipped Twitter’s logo to Shiba Inu dog, the Dogecoin cryptocurrency logo, leaving the users astonished who woke up to a different logo of the social media platform.

Although Mr Musk did not share the reason behind the change in logo, the value of Dogecoin had witnessed almost 30% increase.

The Twitter owner has been making various changes at the social media giant since he bought the firm. Recently, he announced only verified Twitter accounts would be eligible to vote in polls starting April 15, a move that the social media company's CEO believes will address advanced AI bot swarms.

Musk also said only verified accounts will be eligible to be in Twitter's For You recommendations, which displays a stream of tweets from accounts on Twitter.
