ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Pakistan junior hockey team secured an impressive victory in its second match of the Men’s Junior Asia Cup 2026, defeating hosts China 4-2.
Pakistan’s Hamza Fayyaz was named Player of the Match. Pakistan started the match aggressively. Hamza Fayaz scored a brace for the Green Shirts, while Nadeem Khan converted a penalty corner.
Abdul Sami also contributed with a field goal to play a key role in Pakistan’s win, said a press release.
For China, Wang Yubo scored from a penalty corner and Ao Dongzi added a field goal. However, Pakistan maintained its lead through excellent teamwork and a solid defensive performance to seal the match 4-2.
