LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi has announced a reward of Rs. 1 million (10 lakh) for each player of the national hockey team for qualifying for the Pro Hockey League.

Captain of the national hockey team, Imad Shakeel Butt, met with Federal Interior Minister and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, during which he congratulated him on receiving the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (a top civil award in Pakistan).

During the meeting, the team captain briefed the PCB Chairman on matters related to the revival of hockey and participation in the Pro Hockey League. Welfare and rehabilitation issues of hockey players were also discussed.

On this occasion, Naqvi stated that the PCB medical team will handle the medical and fitness cases of hockey players. He also assured that visa issues of the players will be resolved.

He further said that qualifying for the Pro Hockey League is an honor for the national team. Naqvi also assured full support for the revival of hockey in Pakistan.
