CHENNAI (Web Desk) - In the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy, Pakistan will play its third match against Japan at Chennai in India today (Sunday).
The match will begin at 17:45 pm Pakistan Standard Time.
Earlier, a sensational match was played on Friday between Pakistan and South Korea in the ongoing Asian Champions Trophy in Chennai, India. On behalf of Pakistan, Abdul Hanan Shahid scored a field goal in the 18th minute.
While on behalf of Korea, Jeon Young scored a goal on a penalty stroke in the 53rd minute to level the match at 1-1. The match ended in a draw with 1-1 goal.Pakistan will play its third match on Sunday against Japan, fourth match against China on Monday and fifth match against traditional rival India on 9th of this month.
In another match, Malaysia beat Pakistan by 3-1 goals in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. South Korea had defeated Japan by 2-1 goals in first match. Six teams, including Pakistan, India, China, Japan, Korea and Malaysia are participating in the event.
