Pakistan managed to secure its position as the 4th best team of the tournament.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - India thumped Pakistan in a thriller 3rd-place encounter to achieve bronze medal in Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2021 in Dhaka.
India clinched bronze medal after outclassing Pakistan by 4-3. Subsequently, Pakistan managed to secure its position as the 4th best team of the tournament.
Akash Desh Singh, Varun Kumar, Samit, Manpreet Singh scored goals for India. While on the other hand, Ahmed Nadeem, Junaid, and Fraz threw the ball into net for Pakistan.
Earlier, both Pakistan and India were knocked out of the tournament as South Korea thumped Pakistan by 6-5 in the first semi-final and Japan beat India by 5-3 in the second.
