China: 4 swimmers set a new world record

A lake located 1300 feet above the sea level was crossed in 7 hours by 4 swimmers.

The swimmers covered the distance in 24 hours. The temperature in the lake was 10 centigrade and there was less oxygen due to the height.The greatest danger was that of an unknown sea animal.The coaches said a special training was given to the swimmers, teaching them to swim slowly so that their body temperature could remain normal.
