19 women cricketers given central contracts

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has awarded central contracts to women cricketers.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has offered central contracts to 19 women players who were part of the gold-medal-winning national squad in the Asian Games in China and also the winners of a triangular one-day tournament in Sri Lanka.The players have been placed in three categories. Category A consists of Sana Mir, Javeria Khan, Nain Abidi, Bismah Maroof and Batool Fatima. Category B consists of Nida Dar, Samavia Iqbal, Qanita Jamil and Marina Iqbal. While Masooma Junaid, Sadia Yousaf, Rabiya Shah, Sana Gulzar and Sidra Ameen were named in category C. Meanwhile, Kainat Imtiaz, Naheeda Khan, Nimra Imran, Faryal Awan and Areeb Shamaim were named for retainership contract.
