Turkish league match cancelled due to fan violence

A Turkish league match between Besiktas and Bursapor was cancelled due to violence between fans.

The clashes erupted when police prevented Bursaspor fans from assaulting Besiktas supporters in an apparent revenge attack following last years street fights in Istanbul.No Besiktas fans were injured but the clashes trapped the teams players in their hotel.Police have escorted Besiktas players and supporters out of Bursa.According to an official, 25 policemen and nine other people were injured in during the clashes.
