Poor event management exposed in National Hockey Championship.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Poor event management in the National Hockey Championship has been exposed as players are deprived of basic facilities, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

According to details, players are not being provided with clean drinking water, proper residence, electricity and other necessities in the championship – scheduled at Karachi’s Abdul Sattar Edhi Hockey Stadium.

The players told that they were forced to spend the night on road due to loadshedding. A participant from erstwhile FATA broke his finger while playing, and he was shifted to the hospital on a motorbike as ambulance was not available.

Let it be known that 20 teams are participating in the event – scheduled till August 4 – from across the country.
