72nd Punjab Games commence in Lahore on Wednesday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The 72nd Punjab Games will commence in Lahore on Wednesday (today) after a gap of eight years, Dunya News reported.
Over 3000 athletes will participate in 30 games in the Punjab Games 2019. For the first time in history, transgenders will take part in the event along with men and women.
The 3-day activities will begin simultaneously at 18 different grounds of Lahore.
Punjab Sports Minister Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti said the games had not been organized for eight years. The event has been arranged on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he added.
