Formula One: Vettel grabs pole at Chinese Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull Racing won pole position at the third round of the Formula One season.

After dominating the three practice session at the Chinese Grand Prix, Sebastian Vettel continued his perfect record as he won his third consecutive pole position from three reaches in the Formula One 2011 season.The German driver, eased to pole as none of the 10 drivers competing were able to match his time. Vettel’s dominance was such that he abandoned his second fast lap and cursed back into the pits, confident of victory. In second place was McLaren Mercedes driver Jenson Button followed closely by his teammate Lewis Hamilton. Nico Rosberg of Mercedes GP locked the two front rows of the grid. The best placed Ferrari was of Fernando Alonso in fifth place.Vettel currently holds the lead with the Drivers’ Championship with 50 points from two races.The Chinese Grand Prix will start at 12pm according to Pakistan standard time.
