Asian Hockey Champions Trophy: Pakistan crush Malaysia to reach final
Green Shirts will play the final either against India
MUSQAT (Dunya News) – Pakistan defeated Malaysia 3-1 on penalty shoot-out after a 4-4 draw to reach the final of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, Muscat on Saturday.
The green shirts have won three of its five matches, losing one and drawing one. They defeated South Korea 3-1 in the opening match of the tournament while they lost to arch-rivals India 3-1.
The second final was played between India and Japan.
Green Shirts will play the final either against India on Sunday.
