Third quarterfinal of the world cup 2011 will be played today between South Africa and New Zealand.

The battle will start at 1:30pm (PST) in the Mirpur stadium, Dhaka. Both teams have had five previous meetings in a world cup event from which Kiwis took victory in three and Proteas in two.Overall, both teams have battled in 51 ODIs from which Proteas enjoyed victory 30 times and Kiwis 17 times.In the current event, after all the group matches completed, Proteas were on top of the group B, whereas Kiwis were rattling on fourth position in group A.
