Spot-fixing trio lost bank job

The National Bank has fired the spot-fixing convicted cricketers Muhammad Asif Muhammad Amir and Salman butt.

The trio was hired by the National Bank but their contract was expired in December last year and the bank did not seek for the renewal. National Bank Sports Head Iqbal Qasim said that due the ban imposed by the International Cricket Council the trio could not play the domestic cricket. If their ban was reverted, they would be recalled, he added.
