Pakistani athlete Nadia Nazir, five-year-old son die in road crash

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National athlete Nadia Nazir and her five-year-old son on Saturday died in a road mishap near Bahawalnagar.

Pakistan Sports Board, Athletes Federation and Pakistan Olympics Association have expressed deep grief on the incident and prayed for the peace of depareted souls.



Sources told that Nadia Nazir was scheduled to represent Pakistan in upcoming Fourth Islamic Games starting from May 12 in Azerbaijan.



The player had also supervised Wapda team in national events.

Earlier in October 2016, an enthusiastic Pakistani footballer Shahlyla Ahmadzai Baloch passed away in a car accident in Karachi.
