MELBOURNE (AFP) - China's Li Na won a legion of fans en route to winning the Australian Open by cracking jokes after her matches. Here a selection of Li's one-liners:

 

On what inspires her (after reaching the 2013 final)

"Prize money."

 

On her husband, Jiang Shan

"I didn't have a good night last night. My husband was snoring. I woke up every hour."

"He can't really cook. It's easier if he just pays for me (at a restaurant)."

"If he says, 'Enough' (jokes), I think we will divorce."

 

On her agent, Max Eisenbud

"Max my agent, you made me very rich. Thanks a lot."
