Sweden wins women's title at Europeans

STAVANGER (AP) - Sweden warmed up for the Winter Olympics in Sochi in February by beating Scotland 10-5 to win the women s title at the European Curling Championship on Saturday.
Margaretha Sigfridsson s rink avenged its defeat by the Scots in the round-robin games by scoring three at the last end to win the final by a convincing margin.
Scotland, skipped by Eve Muirhead, was the favorite after beating Sweden in the world final in March and reaching the European final by winning 10 straight games.
