The Blue Jays said they hope Bautista's left wrist heals in time for next season's spring training.

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista will undergo season-ending surgery on his wrist, the Major League Baseball team announced on Tuesday.In 91 games this season, Bautista has 27 home runs and 65 RBI while hitting .241.He went on the injured list following a July 16 game against the New York Yankees and returned August 24, but played in just two games before getting hurt again.The Blue Jays said they hope Bautistas left wrist heals in time for next seasons spring training.
