Australia's third loss in five series deposed them from the top of the world Test rankings to fourth place first time after 2002, one spot above England. After a heavy defeat of 197 runs in Oval test, Australia came down to number 4 position. According to the latest ICC ranking, Kangaroos have 116 points. South Africa gained number one position whereas Sri Lanka is at third. India moved to number three whereas Ashes winner England moved to number five position. On the other hand, English spinner Graeme Swann has progressed 17 positions to claim number ten spot in test cricket.
