Judge hits advocate with paperweight in Sheikhupura

As per details, senior advocate Tanveer Naqi appeared in the court of civil judge Ahmed Saeed and allegedly used rude language against the judge during the proceeding of a case. Exchange of harsh words ensued and the judge reportedly hit the lawyer with a paperweight, injuring him seriously. Later, the lawyers tortured the court staff but the judge managed to escape.The lawyer has filed an application with the city police station to register a case against the judge. On the other hand, the Sheikhupura bar has announced strike for an indefinite period.
