Summary Defence Minister Khawaja Asif calls overseas YouTubers PTI’s biggest enemies, accusing them of profiting from provocative posts while the party bears the consequences in Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that YouTubers based abroad, whom he described as freeloaders, are in fact the biggest enemies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Khawaja Asif strongly criticised the YouTubers, saying they were sitting safely abroad and making money, while PTI was paying the price for their negative and provocative posts within Pakistan.
باہر بیٹھے یہ مفت بر یو ٹیو برز pti کے سب سے بڑے دشمن ھیں ۔ سارے محفوظ بیٹھے نوٹ چھاپ رہے ھیں۔ اور پاکستان میں pti انکی پوسٹوں کے منفی اثرات کی قیمت ادا کرتی ھے ۔ کبھی دیکھا نہ تھا کہ آپ جس کی حمایت کا دم بھرتے ھوں اس کی آزمائش سے آپ ڈالر کما رہے ھوں۔ جب pti کی حکومت تھی اسوقت بھی ان کی عید تھی آج pti کی حکومت نہیں انکی جیب اب بھی بدستور گرم ھو رہی ھے۔ پوری پارٹی کو ان یو ٹیو برز نے چ بنایا ھے۔

He said he had never witnessed such a situation before, in which people claiming to support someone were earning dollars by exploiting that very person's trials and difficulties.
Khawaja Asif said these YouTubers had enjoyed a field day when PTI was in power, but their pockets continued to be filled as usual even though the party was no longer in government.
He added that these YouTubers had brought the entire party to ruin.
