Many areas in Karachi are still without electricity even after the six days of heavy downpours. Accumulated water is still to be drained out in several areas. Before the rains city government and cantonment board had devised a strategy to tackle with the rains however lack of practical steps resulted in an adverse damage to the city. Citizens have to bear a lot of trouble in absence of a proper drainage system. Broken roads and accumulated water are adding problems in smooth flow of traffic.
