Jordanian navy chief visits naval headquarters

Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat visited Pakistan Naval Headquarters on Monday.

Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat, Commander Royal Jordanian Naval Forces, accompanied by his personal staff, is on an official visit to Pakistan on the invitation of Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila, Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy.Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, he was received by Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila, Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy clad in ceremonial dress presented him the Guard of Honour. Admiral Mohammad Asif Sandila, then introduced the visiting dignitary to the Principal Staff Officers at Naval Headquarters.Later, Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office, where he held detailed discussions on professional matters with his counterpart. A comprehensive brief on operational developments was also given to the visiting dignitary. Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat, will also call on the Defence Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Director General Maritime Technical Complex during his visit. He will also call on various high ranking naval officials besides visiting naval units at Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat joined the Royal Jordanian Navy in 1977. Besides commanding the Royal Jordanian Naval Forces, he has had the privilege to command Maintenance Battalion and Prince Hussein Bin Abdullah Military Technical College.Brig General Qasem Fadeel Nahar Tanashat is a graduate of Royal Jordanian National Defense College and Defence resources management course from USA. He also holds Masters Degree in Management and Strategic Studies.
