RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Security forces have killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Khadkocha area of Mastung district in Balochistan, security sources said on Friday.

According to the sources, the operation was carried out as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts under Operation Azm in which four militants of Fitna al-Hindustan were killed.

A significant quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the militants, while motorcycles used by them were also seized, the sources said.

Several other militants were also reportedly injured during the operation, while a number of suspected facilitators allegedly involved in assisting the militants were arrested.

Search and clearance operations were continuing in the area following the operation, with security forces maintaining surveillance, the sources added.

The operation was intensified following recent militant activities in Khadkocha, according to security sources. They said security forces would continue operations against militants until the threat of terrorism was eliminated and peace and stability were restored in the region.
