ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Preparations for Hajj 2027 have been initiated in line with Saudi requirements, with Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs planning to launch mandatory registration later this month.
According to the ministry spokesperson, registration for Hajj 2027 will require applicants to hold a valid Pakistani passport with at least a validity up to November 16, 2027.
Officials said prospective pilgrims are advised to obtain or renew their passports at the earliest to avoid delays in registration.
Registered applicants will be eligible to participate in either the government or private Hajj schemes, depending on their preference.
The ministry further stated that registration will also be mandatory for overseas Pakistanis intending to perform Hajj in 2027.
Details regarding the Hajj package, costs, and terms and conditions will be announced later under the upcoming Hajj policy.
