ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Climate Change Dr Musadik Malik on Monday said that the government is taking comprehensive measures to improve exports and strengthen the national economy.
The minister said that special focus is being placed on promoting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and creating employment opportunities across the country.
He acknowledged that the economy is facing pressure due to rising petroleum prices in the international market, adding that the government is making efforts to curb inflation and enhance job prospects for the people.
Commenting on the ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran, he said Pakistan seeks complete peace and stability in the region. He noted that the international community has recognized Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace.
The minister emphasized that wars are not a viable solution to conflicts and called for dialogue and peaceful means to address regional and international disputes.
