Summary Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf urged pilgrims to offer special prayers for Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah during the sacred days of Hajj

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf paid a surprise visit to residential buildings housing Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah and reviewed facilities being provided under the government Hajj scheme during Hajj 1447 AH.

A Ministry of Religious Affairs official informed that the minister visited government residential buildings 208, 209, 210 and 211, where he met pilgrims and personally reviewed accommodation arrangements, breakfast quality and other facilities.

The report said the minister also visited pilgrims’ rooms and received direct feedback from them, who expressed satisfaction and happiness over the arrangements and services being provided by the Pakistan Hajj Mission.

During the visit, Yousaf said the Hajj operation had entered its most important phase and directed Khuddam-ul-Hujjaj to continue working with dedication and commitment for the comfort of pilgrims.

He urged Pakistani pilgrims to adopt discipline, sacrifice and cooperation with fellow pilgrims as guiding principles during Hajj rituals.

The minister said the eyes of the Muslim world were on Pakistan and stressed that Pakistani pilgrims should further enhance the country’s image through their best conduct and behaviour.

He also urged pilgrims to offer special prayers for Pakistan, the holy land and the entire Muslim Ummah during the sacred days of Hajj, the official added.
