Summary The occupying administration in occupied Jammu and Kashmir brutally turned dozens of Muslim homes into rubble
(Web Desk) - Fresh concerns have emerged over demolitions and displacement in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir after Indian forces razed several Muslim homes in the region.
According to The Telegraph Online report, the occupying administration in occupied Jammu and Kashmir brutally turned dozens of Muslim homes into rubble. The occupying administration demolished 20 to 30 houses covering 60 kanals in occupied Kashmir, declaring them forest land.
The report further revealed that the houses were reduced to rubble during the operation, triggering anger and concern among local communities.
Javed Rana, the region’s forest minister, criticised the operation, describing it as discriminatory and harsh. He stated that many of the affected families had been living on the land for decades, saying that the demolitions were carried out without regard for the residents’ long-standing presence in the area.
Javed Rana further added that the demolitions targeting tribal and Muslim families were part of a broader effort to intimidate residents and force displacement in the region.
According to experts, the brutal actions of the occupying Indian administration in occupied Jammu and Kashmir are a conspiracy to maintain an atmosphere of fear and change the demographic balance. Occupying Kashmir illegally by India has a shameful history of brutal atrocities against Muslims, on which the international community can no longer remain silent.
