The electricity crisis is yet to be controlled even after three days after the heavy downpours in Karachi. Many city areas are still without electricity. The electricity supply to the entire city was suspended after fierce rains. The angry citizens protested in Commercial Area Defense, Manzoor Colony, Clifton, Quaid Abad, Korangi, Mahmood Abad, Shaheed Milat Abad Express Way, Airport, Shah Faisal Colony, Sohrab Goth, Nagan Chornagi and many others areas. Protesters blocked the traffic, burnt tyres and threw stones on vehicles against the suspension of electricity and improper water drainage system. Protesters gave a sit-in near Clifton Bridge at railway crossing and suspended the railway traffic.
