The whole nation is observing Kashmir Solidarity Day to express solidarity with the people of IHK.

The day began with special prayers and rich tributes paid to martyrs. All activities and transport will come to a standstill when one minute’s silence will be observed throughout the country at 10am.President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan have issued special messages in connection with the day.President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani will address the joint session of the AJK Legislative Assembly and the Council.PM Gilani will also host a dinner in honour of prominent Kashmiri leaders.
