QUETTA: (Dunya News) - Light to heavy rain in various districts of Balochistan, including Quetta, on Monday intensified cold spell causing a sharp drop in the temperature, Dunya News reported.
Heavy showers were reported in Kalat, Khuzdar, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, and Kharan. Rain also continued in Kech, Turbat, Panjgur, Ziarat, Chaman, Qila Saifullah, and Kachhi. Showers were also recorded in Gwadar, Awaran, Pasni, Ormara, Lasbela, Hub, and Barkhan as well.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), more rain is expected in Balochistan today (Tuesday). Low-lying areas in various parts of province were flooded due to rain.
Meanwhile, the Lahore–Sialkot Motorway (M-11) has been closed due to dense fog. Motorway Police have urged citizens to avoid traveling in foggy conditions.
