In the last three weeks, 46 infants have died due to malnutrition and various diseases the district headquarters of Tharparkar, with 70 children are still undergoing treatment there.
According to MS Civil Hospital Mithi, the three children who died in the last 24 hours were less than one year old.
Due to cold and malnutrition, these children were born with low birth weight and suffered from various diseases that could not be cured during treatment, he said.
He added that the children's ward of the hospital has a capacity of 70 children, while 76 children suffering from cold and other illnesses are currently being treated there.
Additionally, parents of sick children say that there is a severe lack of medical facilities in the hospital's pediatric intensive care ward, demanding the Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah to provide them with better health and medical facilities. .
