Govt takes u-turn, decides not to appoint Babar as law minister

The government took another u-turn and decided not to appoint Babar Awan as law minister.

According to sources, after the suspension of licence by the Supreme Court, Babar Awan requested the government to appoint him as law minister. But the government decided not to appoint him as law minister to avoid any confrontation. Earlier, there were reports that Maula Bux Chandia has resigned from law ministry as Babar Awan was being made new law minister.But Chandio denied the reports and said that neither he had resigned from his ministry nor he was asked by anybody to resign.
