Former Secretary Defence Naeem Lodhi has challenged his removal in the Islamabad High Court.

Naeem Lodhi filed a petition in the IHC under Article 199, challenging his removal as secretary defence. The petitioner stated that PM violated law in his removal and no legal procedure had also been adopted.He said that he denied to sign government’s affidavit in memogate case, therefore he was removed. He requested the court to declare null and void the order issued by the PM regarding his removal.Federal government, PM Gilani and Secretary Establishment have been made part in the case.
