Several trains delayed due to shortage of engines and fuel.

Dozens of passengers, mostly families, remained stuck at the railway stations due to delay in departure and arrival of the trains for hours.According to sources Jaffar Express travelling from Multan Railway Station to Rawalpindi was delayed by 8 hours.Similarly, Hazara Express, Pakistan Express, Awami Express and Zakaria Express were delayed by 3 hours respectively.Railways officials were of the view that shortage of engines, late arrival of trains and fuel shortage results in delay of operation.
