ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In line with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s directions, Members of the National Assembly Ali Muhammad Khan and Adil Bazai have tendered their resignations from National Assembly standing committees.

Ali Muhammad Khan quit the Standing Committee on Human Rights as well as the Standing Committee on Parliamentary Affairs. He has already submitted his resignation to the Speaker’s office.

Meanwhile, PTI MNA Adil Bazai also called it a day, stepping down from his committee memberships. In his resignation sent to the NA Speaker, he stated that he was leaving the posts strictly on Imran Khan’s instructions.

Imran Khan directs PTI to quit all NA committees

Bazai had been serving on the Standing Committees on Poverty Alleviation and Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, and the Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication.

In his letter, Bazai made it clear: “I am resigning from all committees on the directions of Imran Khan.”
