KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Thursday said that the Sindh government stands with the affected people of Punjab during the recent disasters.
Talking to media, Sharjeel Memon said that Sindh government stands ready to extend all possible resources to the people and the government of Punjab during this difficult time.
He said the flood situation in Punjab is distressing. “We are deeply grieved by the losses caused by the floods. The suffering of the people of Punjab is our suffering. We stand in solidarity with the affected families.”
He said that the floodwaters are now entering Sindh, and the Chief Minister of Sindh is monitoring the situation closely.
Sharjeel Memon added that all relevant departments have been put on alert. He clarified that there is currently no emergency in Sindh and expressed hope that no major damage occurs.
