Says Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif had bid farewell to IMF
LAHORE (Dunya News) - PML-N leader and former federal minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq has said Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif had bid farewell to IMF, but it was PTI’s founder who brought back the international funding agency to Pakistan.
Speaking at an election campaign here on Saturday, the former minister claimed that the incumbent government was not fond of going to IMF, but no country was willing to help Pakistan without the IMF.
He urged the people of Lahore to grid their loins for the campaign of PML-N candidates to ensure their victory in by-elections.
“No one should forget that the country was at the verge of default, and India had a malicious eye on Pakistan. In this situation, the PML-N took over the government, and took responsibility for wrongdoings committed by pervious rulers,” Saad said.

About PML-N candidate in NA-129 Lahore, Hafiz Muhammad Nauman, Khawaja Saad Rafique said his relationship with Hafiz Nauman was not new.
“Some time ago, he and I were together in the camp jail,” he added.
“When Saqib Nisar and an alliance stole the 2018 elections. Hafiz Nauman and his family stood firm. Mian Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif have selected an excellent person.
“IMF was not ready to come to Pakistan, no country was ready for help without the IMF. We were not interested in going to the IMF.
Who brought terrorists to Pakistan again and settled them. They attacked the parliament and now say there is no democracy. They themselves buried democracy,” Saad alleged.
Election Commission is for everyone, I am saying to everyone that no one will be subjected to revenge, do an open election campaign, but also accept the election results, the PML-N stalwart said.
