Spokesperson says Farrukh Ali Shah appointed NEPRA member on Punjab governments requested.

Spokesperson for the Prime Minister House clarified that federal government has played no role in the appointment of Farrukh Ali Shah, who is convicted by accountability court.He said that Punjab government insisted over his appointment despite government’s appraisal.Each member of the province is being selected for National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) and federal government select members on recommendations of the provincial government.
