LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police have confirmed the arrest of Aleema Khan's son.

DIG Investigation stated that the accused, Shahraiz Azeem, was wanted by Lahore police in the May 9 cases. He will be presented in court today. Those involved in anti-state activities do not deserve any leniency.

Earlier, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan had claimed that her son Shahraiz was abducted from their home by four armed masked men.

Aleema Khan said that four armed individuals in plain clothes entered the house through the kitchen. Her son was on the upper floor of the house with his wife and father. The armed men also harassed the house staff.

A spokesperson for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also claimed that the armed men broke down doors and abducted Shahraiz from his bedroom, where he was allegedly assaulted in front of his two children.

On the other hand, Prime Minister's political adviser Rana Sanaullah had earlier stated that the Lahore police chief denied any such arrest.
