Eldest son of Mardan Shah II has been elected new Pir Pagara.

Deceased Pir Pagara Shah Mardan Shah II’s eldest son Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi alias Raja Saen was elected as new Pir Pagara on Thursday.Shah Mehmood Qureshi was also present at the Dastaar Bandi ceremony of Raja Saen.The eighth Pir Pagara was elected after the body of Mardan Shah II reached Pir jo Goth for the funeral processions today.The chief of Pakistan Muslim League Functional and spiritual leader of the Hur community, Mardan Shah was flown to London last week as advised by Pakistani doctors, but his condition deteriorated rapidly and he breathed his last at a London hospital.
