PESHAWAR – Former Pakistan cricket captain and all-rounder Shahid Afridi rushed to Buner to lend a helping hand to flood-hit families.
Afridi toured the flood-affected areas, offered condolences to the bereaved families, and handed out cash and essential supplies to those left high and dry by the disaster.
Local officials briefed him on ongoing relief efforts and the facilities being provided to victims by police and rescue teams.

Floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa claimed more than 400 people dead and 156 injured, with nearly 220 deaths recorded in Buner alone.
