Family members were “harassed and domestic staff assaulted”
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salman Akram Raja on Thursday claimed that the Lahore home of Aleema Khan, sister of imprisoned PTI founder Imran Khan, was raided by men in plain clothes.
He alleged that her son, Shahrez, was abducted during the operation, while family members were harassed and domestic staff assaulted.

The statement came just hours after the Supreme Court granted bail to Imran Khan in eight cases linked to the May 9, 2023 unrest. The three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi, approved relief for Khan, ruling that observations in bail matters are interim and should not prejudice trial proceedings.

PTI leaders hailed the verdict as a major political victory, but Raja’s account of the raid on Aleema Khan’s residence cast a shadow over the celebrations.
