KARAK (Dunya News) – Four Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred when terrorists ambushed their vehicle in Aman Kot Towe, Karak district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Wednesday.

According to reports, armed militants, hiding on a nearby hilltop, opened fire on an FC vehicle in the jurisdiction of Gurguri Police Station, as the personnel were departing for field security duty. All four FC men, including the driver, were martyred on the spot.

Following the attack, security forces and police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation in the surrounding mountainous regions to track the assailants.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemns attack

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the attack, paying tribute to the martyred personnel—Lance Naik Mehmood Shah, Sepoy Shahid, Sepoy Rauf, and driver Shahpoor.

He expressed deep sorrow and condolences to the bereaved families, stating that the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs strengthen Pakistan’s resolve to fight terrorism. “The nation stands with the families of the fallen heroes,” he added.
