The NDMA warned that more rainfall is expected in the coming days and urged the public to stay on high alert, especially in vulnerable and low-lying areas.
As the situation unfolds, rescue teams are working around the clock, but many areas remain cut off or under threat due to rising water levels. Authorities have called on citizens to cooperate and not take unnecessary risks during this critical time.
Pakistan continues to face the ups and downs of monsoon season each year, but the 2025 spell has hit harder than usual, leaving many families struggling to pick up the pieces after the loss of loved ones and property.
